Why I Paint Art…
To help the Bible come alive.
To develop teaching tools that can be used for Christian education both in person and virtually.
To illustrate the people, places, and events of God’s Word in colorful, vibrant, and vivid ways that seem to leap off the pages of Scripture and speak The Truth into the hearts and lives of people today in the 21st century.
To creatively communicate the greatest story ever told: the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who came to forgive us of all our sins and bring us the hope, love, joy, and peace found only in Him.
To encourage people to know Jesus more deeply—or perhaps encounter Him as Lord and Savior for the very first time.
To provide opportunities for people to slow down, pause, ponder, and wonder.
To create works of art that bring people together through timeless family memories, meaningful conversations, and personal reflection.
To cope with and navigate the sadness, brokenness, and anger of the world while finding solace, solitude, and fulfillment through a natural gift and a learned skill that others have continually encouraged and affirmed in me: the visual arts.
